Pumpkin Patch
Last night was the annual pumpkin patch trip. It's been a tradition in our family to go the the pumpkin patch for family night just before Halloween every year since we moved to Temecula 6 years ago. The kids are obviously getting older. I think this is the first year we didn't have someone breakdown crying over something, and no one got sick (The bucket ride had been sentimentally named the barf buckets, and we no longer eat spaghetti for dinner just before this annual outing). Alicia had to work and wasn't able to make it. Adam's tour in Afghanistan is over but he's back in Germany until his time in the army is finished. It just wasn't the same without them both. Jacob's attempt at the bungee jump was successful this year (that was the start of last years crying melt down) Last year it terrified him, and this year he conquered his fear! Chloe's record of 80 back flips on the bungee jump still stands. She didn't attempt to break it this year. But she did some great stunts. Zack loved the petting zoo, and the slide. Jacob is convinced he NEEDS a rabbit for a pet now, and he thought the goats were really rude and pushy because they kept butting in and taking the food they were trying to feed the other animals. Our friends the Rocks joined us, and we saw several other families from our ward there. It was a lot of fun.
